When our species has a problem, the automatic response is to begin devising solutions. The freer we are to act independently without restrictions, the more solutions and innovations develop rapidly. The internet is our greatest success largely because of independent innovation and open sharing.
In areas dominated by official restrictions and monopolies, things move much slower.
